Program Description

Dining with Diabetes is a program consisting of four sessions being presented by Marcia Parcell of Purdue University Extension Service Dearborn County. This program is being presented free thanks to Health First Funds from the State of Indiana and the Dearborn County Health Department. (The cost is usually $40 per person or $65 per couple.) The group also will decided on a future date to hold a reunion. If you sign up, please commit to attended all four sessions. Please register each person individually. You can attend virtually

Nutrition and physical activity are keys to managing your type 2 diabetes. But where do you start? The Dining with Diabetes program can help! • Dining with Diabetes consists of four sessions and a reunion. • Adults with type 2 diabetes (or who are at risk) are invited to participate. Family members, caregivers, and support persons, too.

Session 1: Sept. 9 6-8 PM; Session 2: Sept. 16 6-8 PM; Session 3: Sept. 23 6-8 PM and Session 4: Sept. 30 6-8 PM

The first three sessions will take place in the Ewbank Room. The last session will be in the Depot Room.
