Program Description

Program Description

Come to the library for a snack & a movie! The movie this month is The Woman King. In the late eighteenth century, the Kingdom of Dahomey flourished as one of Africa's most powerful states. Yet as European merchants encroach, seeking riches at the expense of its people, warrior Nanisca takes a stand to uphold her peoples' freedom. Inspired by true events. Enjoy snacks and drinks on us at the Lawrenceburg Main Library. Register: https://lawrenceburg.librarycalendar.com.

Thanks to our friends at Hamline Chapel, you also can pick up a free to-go dinner starting at 5:15 p.m. (before the movie) from their weekly High Hope Café, 102 W. High St., Lawrenceburg, (across the street from the library) and bring it to the library.
