Program Description

The United Way of Greater Cincinnati offers free tax preparation and filing help for eligible participants.

Karen Snyder, the area United Way director and IRS certified volunteer, will be at the Lawrenceburg Main Library from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 11, 18, 25, and Thursday, Feb. 6, to provide free in-person tax assistance to those who meet eligibility requirements. Appointments will be available every 20 minutes, but a reservation is required by calling 812-537-2009.

You will need to bring all of your tax forms, a picture ID and Social Security card to verify your identity. Also bring last year's tax returns if you have them.

Your gross income should be $65,000 or below for in-person assistance.

If you cannot make one of these sessions, but you still need free assistance, visit uwgc.org/freetaxprep to find another location and book an appointment.
