Never fished but want to learn? Need to brush up on basic skills? Then join former Indiana Department of Natural Resources sport fishing educator Clint Kowalik from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, July 8, at the Ludlow Hill Park pond in Lawrenceburg, presented by the Lawrenceburg Public Library District. Special thanks to the City of Lawrenceburg. Some fishing equipment will be available for use or bring your own. You will need a fishing license to actually fish, or just register for the tips and lessons! He also will give a short presentation on Indiana fish with an ocean connection! For more information on fishing licenses go to www.in.gov/dnr/fish-and-wildlife. Check for updates on the library district website and social media pages if bad weather is forecasted. The program may not be suitable for small children. Ages 6 + suggested. Children cannot be left unattended, must be accompanied by an adult. Adults who want to learn how to fish also welcome!
