March is hibiscus. The fruity flavor of hibiscus is tangy and sweet, making it a great choice for tea. Hibiscus seeds, flowers, leaves, and stems are used in food and traditional medicine. Today, you can find hibiscus-flavored jams, jellies, sauces, syrups, and teas throughout the world. Its ruby red color makes it a lovely addition to standard drinks like lemonade or club soda for a natural hue along with a tangy flavor. Each kit will contain an ounce of certified organic cut and sifted hibiscus flower, a muslin bag, and a sample-size jar of hibiscus jelly. Presented by Carisa Bunten of Seventh Street Gifts.
