Program Description

August’s birthstone, the peridot, is a light green, ancient, cosmic birthstone that has been found in volcanic lava in Hawaii—and in meteorites that have fallen to Earth. The Egyptians called peridot the “gem of the Sun” and believed it had special healing powers. Carisa Bunten of Seventh Street Gifts will present the program on YouTube. Register for a stone, pick it up then watch video on LPLD YouTube channel starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27.  You also can watch the video only with no registration!
