*Registration is recommended to make sure there is enough dessert, but not required.*

Did you know Pie Day is March 14? OK. Actually it is Pi Day to celebrate the never-ending ratio of a circle circumference to its diameter Π. So let's gather a"round' (See what we did there?) to listen to some poetry and eat some pie- made in the shape of a circle.

The Friends of the Lawrenceburg Public Library District will supply the pie. Free-will donations will be accepted. (And they are really good at baking. Their bake sales are amazing.)

Professor Emeritus of English at Ivy Tech Ron Nicholson will present the program Walt Whitman and Emily Dickinson: The Parents of American Poetry

This one-hour lecture will include a mix of history, readings, and stories that will increase your appreciation of the impact these two poetic giants had on modern poetry.

And there will be pie. Do we mention that yet?
