Around the time he retired, Ripley County resident Carl Moore started collecting coins and becoming interested in their connections to history. Now he wants to share that knowledge with you starting with the origin of coins through colonial times. Everyone who registers will receive a wheat penny and be entered in a drawing to win one of three to four other coins. Everyone who registers also will be entered into a seasonal drawing for a 1921 Morgan silver dollar.
