Program Description

Cascading leaves, pumpkin spice everything, gold and crimson sunsets: mmm, the stuff of autumn. And books. Books might be the most important part of fall! Even the crispiest apple and most aromatic tea become mediocre without a delectable book to devour on chilly autumn evenings.

Fortunately, on Sept. 16, and 17, the Friends of the Lawrenceburg Public Library District will be serving quite a smorgasbord of enticing titles; a buffet of magazines, CDs and DVDs, and an especially generous helping of YA books! Instead of plates, fill a bag or more with sustenance for this new season.

Begin by purchasing a bag for $5 (All Friends of the Library members receive two bags for the price of one.), then browse literally hundreds of selections, choosing your favorites to fill the bags to nearly overflowing!

If you’d prefer to be a little less indulgent, you’ll still be delighted with the temptingly low a la carte prices. Children’s and YA books will be especially affordable, so bring the entire family.

Mark your calendar, whet your appetite, and look forward to satisfying your literary hunger!

Lawrenceburg Public Library: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16

North Dearborn Branch: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17
