Program Description

Come to the library for activities, snacks, and a chance to see a total eclipse!

Everything will start at 1:30 regardless of the weather.

Stop by the Circulation Desk to pick up a pair of eclipse glasses, and to ask about eclipse viewing safety. And pick up some Galaxy Popcorn to munch on during the eclipse. 

Check out the Dunevant Meeting Room to view a NASA livestream about the eclipse as it takes place across the country. Also feel free to pick up yoga mats to use while viewing the eclipse outside.

By the Rocket Ship (or with Bugzy!), have a fun photo opp to capture the memories.

At the Kid's Table and in the Teen Area, make your own commemorative button to remember this exciting event.

In the Kid's Area, watch The Dr. Binocs Show: Solar Eclipse, to learn a bit more about solar eclipses. Then see an eclipse in action with an interactive display.
